'Fuller House' New Cast News News: Lori Loughlin Confirmed to Appear in Reboot Series

The cast of 'Fuller House' has just become larger with the announcement of Lori Loughlin joining the spin-off series.

Loughlin portrayed Becky, Jesse's wife in the series. She detailed her excitement to be back with the original cast in a recent interview with People.

"Doing that show was one of the best jobs I've ever had," she says. "It was just so much fun."

While it isn't confirmed for how much she'll be featured, Loughlin has some high hopes for the success of the show.

"I think with Jeff Franklin at the helm - he's the creator of Full House - it's hard to go wrong because nobody's more protective of that show than he is," she says. "That's his baby."

'Fuller House' will focus on Candace Cameron Bure's character D.J. And her life in her old house raising her children.

"In Fuller House, the adventures of the original series continue on with D.J. Tanner-Fuller (hence the show's title) now pregnant and recently widowed living in San Francisco. DJ's younger sister and aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Sweetin) and her BFF and fellow single mom Kimmy Gibbler (Barber)-along with Kimmy's feisty teenage daughter Ramona-all move in to help take of DJ's two boys, the rebellious J.D., 12, and the neurotic Max, 7," writes EW.

It was recently revealed that the Olsen twins would not be back to take part in the spin-off, however Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber and John Stamos have all signed on.

'Fuller House' is slated to premiere in January, 2016.
