‘Full House’ New Netflix Series News, Rumors: Streaming Service to Order Sitcom Reboot?

There is a chance that Netflix is ordering a new season of the popular ABC comedy TV show of the 80s/90s "Full House,' which starred John Stamos and Bob Saget.

According to TVLine, which first broke the news of the sitcom returning, the show, if ordered for a new season, might get a 13-episode season, called "Fuller House.' The original show, "Full House,' ran from 1987-95 on ABC and enjoyed a huge viewership, with around 1.2 million viewers Monday through Wednesday of this week. The show, which was initially aired on Nickelodeon channels like The N and Teen Nick before landing at Nick at Nite.

Along with Stamos, Saget "Full House' also starred Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin, Mary-Kate Olsen, Ashley Olsen, Lori Loughlin, Andrea Barber and Scott Weinger.

According to Variety, when spoke to a Netflix representative, he denied the report saying it is "just a rumor," without elaborating. Warner Bros., which produced the sitcom, also declined to comment.

Although, this is not the first time that such a news has come to the audience. Last year in August, similar news had come out and the cast of the new season had reportedly been decided, after the approval.

Back then, it was confirmed to the Warner Bros. TV that Stamos, Cameron Bure, Sweetin and Barber were on board. And that Saget (Danny) and Coulier (Joey) were "involved in some way," according to IGN.
