'Frozen' New Theme Park News: A First Look at Disney's Latest Attraction

The first concept image from the Frozen ride that will be opening in Disney's Epcot park in 2016 has been released. Park visitors will be taking a boat ride throughout the town of Arendelle, and straight into the palace which was built by Elsa.

The ride will also feature some fan favorites, including the "Snowgies" and Frozen Fever.

Fans of the movie, young and old, are excited that they are finally getting to visit Queen Elsa, and that the Frozen ride is opening inside of the Disney parks.

Disney revealed a first look at the attraction on their official blog on Tuesday, June 9th.

It looks like a scene straight out of the popular movie. The name of the ride is "Frozen Ever After", and according to the blog post, the ride will be fun for the whole family.

Guests will take a ride in a large boat into Arendelle Bay and then visit Queen Elsa as she uses her magic to create a winter in summer event for the town.

After this, guests will ride straight to Elsa's ice palace in the North Mountain and some other locations that fans of the movie will recognize before going back to Arendelle.

Elsa will not be the only Frozen character that fans will get to see in person, of course.

Some of the usual fan favorites, including Frozen characters such as "The Snowgies" from the animated short, "Frozen Fever."

There will also be some spectacular sights inspired by the film. "Frozen Ever After" is set to open inside of Epcot in 2016.
