'Frozen 2' Release Date Rumors: Disney Delays 'Frozen 2' To Focus On Two Other Films
The official release date of "Frozen 2" has not been announced yet, but latest updates about the sequel of the 2013 animated blockbuster indicate that the film will be further delayed as Disney focuses on its two other films.
According to rumors, Disney is focusing on two of its films which are slated for release in the next two years, the live-action film feature of "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Little Mermaid." It is allegedly because of these two films that the production of "Frozen 2" has been pushed back.
Despite the rumored delay, however, fans continue to make speculations as to its plot.
There are speculations that the upcoming film will reveal that Elsa and Anna are not real sisters. One of the most popular theories spreading lately is that Rapunzel is the real sister of Elsa. Rapunzel was the Disney princess featured in her standalone animated Disney film, "Tangled." Fans claim that many events in the "Frozen" film hint at their possible connection, such as Elsa resembling the looks of Rapunzel than Anna. Rapunzel also made a cameo appearance in one of the scenes in the 2013 hit Disney film.
Some also theorize that Elsa and Anna's parents actually survived the shipwreck and were washed ashore on an island where their mother gave birth to Tarzan. If that is so, then it is possible that the King of the Jungle is also Elsa and Anna's sibling.
The release date of "Frozen 2" is still up in the air, but there are rumors that it will be released sometime in late 2018.
