'Frozen 2' Release Date, Plot, Latest News: Rapunzel Is Elsa's Real Sister, Rumored To Premiere In 2018?
Olaf is set to have a future in Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee's upcoming "Frozen 2," aside from previous rumors that Anna and Elsa are not legit sisters.
"Frozen" and "Pixels" actor Josh Gad voiced the adorable snowman Elsa created in "Frozen." According to The Telegraph UK, it has been revealed that the famous Disney sidekick is set to have a girlfriend while Elsa is merrily reigning at Arandelle and Anna and Kristoff are brewing a romance. As per the publication, Olaf's girlfriend is the new female character entering the kingdom, which will reportedly send "cuteness factor" in the film sequel.
It has also been revealed that a big duet between Anna and Elsa is set to take place in Buck and Lee's "Frozen 2." In his interview with The Telegraph UK, film critic Tim Robey said that the duet between the sisters would attempt to position a song, which is set to be the same level as "Let It Go."
According to Robey, Anna and Elsa had shared about four scenes in the first film, thus, he felt more detailed development of that connection had got to be the way to go.
Robey's co-critic, Robbie Collin, said in the same interview that "Frozen 2" categorically had to be a musical and it had to have a big central ballad. "Can you imagine what would happen if it wasn't?" Collin said. "There would be looting," he added.
As per The Film Theorists, Anna was an adopted child, which was a reason why she did not display any supernatural powers in "Frozen." It had been revealed that Rapunzel was Elsa's sister, as manifested by their blue eyes, blonde hair, and being left-handed. Rumors also said that Rapunzel was stolen due to her magical hair while Elsa was sent to Arandelle to hide her from evil forces.
"Frozen 2" serves as the sequel to Disney's 2013 animated film "Frozen." The film features the exploits of Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven.
Buck and Lee's "Frozen 2" is rumored to premiere in 2018 while exact details on the plot, characters, and cast are yet to be revealed.
