Production for "Frozen 2" is well on its way as "Frozen" writer Jennifer Lee is already working on its script.

Currently, Lee is working on another film titled "A Wrinkle Time," where she is also the writer. The film is currently in its pre-production stage.

While working on the said film, Lee is actively writing the script for the "Frozen" sequel. This was revealed by Princess Anna portrayer Kristen Bell, who said that the writer has started working on the script a few months back.

"There are no rushing the script. They have the luxury not to rush because everyone is going to be excited whether it comes out tomorrow or in five years," said Bell.

"They're making it as perfect as they need it to be and we're on call to start recording whenever," she added.

The actress went on to add that the sweeping success of the first "Frozen" film pressures the cast and crew of "Frozen 2," as they have to live up to the expectations of the sequel.

As of now, the sequel does not have an official release date yet since it is still in the early stage of its development.

According to reports, Lee and her team want to ensure that the story for the sequel will hold up. Despite the fact that her plate is currently full, Lee is active in putting together the story for the "Frozen" Christmas Special, which will feature the entire cast of the original film.
