'Frozen 2' Plot Spoilers: Upcoming Movie Will Challenge Anna and Elsa More, Directors Claim [VIDEO]

Directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee have confirmed that Anna and Elsa will be facing more challenges in 'Frozen2,' the sequel to Walt Disney Pictures super hit 2013 animated film 'Frozen.' According to MTV News, the directors have shared that they already have an "overall" concept for 'Frozen 2' and said that they were confident of bringing another exciting project with the plan they have in mind.

According to a report in Latin Post, Buck teased that the plot of the second installment will also revolve around Queen Elsa and Princess Anna of Arendelle, but they will also be a part of "something so much more."

Speaking shortly after the screening of Disney's short films recently, Buck said, "We have two very strong female leads in 'Frozen.' We will keep that going in the next one. We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with."

With the immense popularity of the movie, the directors are aware that apart from their role to entertain the audience, they also have the opportunity to enlighten the fans about the other important aspects in the society today.

Buck shared, "I think we're very aware of what is happening in society. I don't think any of us take [them] lightly, even though they can be very funny and entertaining, the messages that our movies have and the influence they can have on young people. When the kids [watch] them, they watch them over and over again, and if we don't have a decent message in there, I think we've missed an opportunity."

Meanwhile, Josh Gad, who will return to voice the much-loved snowman, Olaf, also heard in advance what is in store for the viewers in 'Frozen 2,' and, he is very excited about it. Talking to ComingSoon.net, Gad said, "The more I hear about it, the more excited I'm getting and I think it's going to be wonderful."

While Buck's description of the plot will certainly raise the fans' anticipation, MTV News reports that currently Buck and Lee are in the early stage of developing the movie's story.
