‘Frozen 2’ Spoilers, Rumors: Disney Sequel Focuses Elsa’s Love Story; New Villain to Challenge Ice Queen?

Even nearly two years after the release of Disney's hugely hit 'Frozen,' fans, especially children, are yet to get over the hype of the animated classic. It is expected that the hype will intensify further as the release date of its sequel titled 'Frozen 2' draws near. While Disney is yet to announce the precise release date of 'Frozen 2,' it is speculated that the film will hit the silver screen sometime in 2018, reports Christian Today.

Nevertheless, everyone concerned are keen to know what 'Frozen 2' has in store for these little fanatics and whether the upcoming movie will be able to continue with the success of 'Frozen.'

Apart from the fact that 'Frozen 2' is confirmed, there is no additional information regarding the sequel at this moment. While it is known that though Christ Buck and Jennifer Lee, directors of the animated film, already have an ending in place, they are not certain about how to start the story.

Over the past few months, various speculations regarding the 'Frozen 2' plot have been flooding the Internet, but it is difficult to say whether any of them hold any truth.

In the beginning, speculations were rife that 'Frozen 2' will focus more on the love story between Kristoff and Anna - and even a possible wedding.

In addition, it was rumored that the Ice Queen of Arendelle will eventually meet her match in love. Several media outlets have speculated that Olaf could possibly be a love interest for Elsa. In fact, it may possibly have some relation with the snowman transforming into a handsome human ideal to be the queen's partner.

Movie News Guide reported that fans may also expect a new villain in the 'Frozen' sequel. While this new villain will have similar powers as Elsa, but will challenge the ice queen with fire power.

There is no doubt that such rumors will excite the 'Frozen' fans, but, as of now, they are mere speculation, since there is still not formal word out about the sequel from Disney yet.

What, however, is certain is that voice actors for Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and Kristoff will return for 'Frozen 2,' while Buck and Lee will still be directing the film, with Lee also on the screenplay.
