French Open 2015 Schedule & Live Stream Free: Rafael Nadal vs Novak Djokovic on Day 11

If the schedule for the 2015 French Open is any indication, the rivalry between the defending French Open champion Rafael Nadal and the world No. 1 Novak Djokovic is unlikely to end anytime soon. In fact, the Serbian will be keen to end the Spaniard's mission to get to the finals and defend his title in their quarterfinals match scheduled for Day 11.

According to Latin Post, the upcoming match will not only be an interesting one, but also keenly fought, as both players are seeking to append more compliments to their respective names on the history books. While Nadal is looking to clinch his 10th French Open title, Djokovic is focusing on a career Grand Slam.

BBC Sport reports that the upcoming 2015 French Open quarterfinals will be the 44th clash between the 28-year-old Serbian and the world's No. 7 and seven out of that have taken place in the French Open. While Nadal has dominated the rivalry, this time Djokovic seems to be determined to do everything possible to reach the finals at Roland Garros.

Recently, Djokovic told Steve G Tennis, "Of course it is a different approach mentally when you play Nadal in quarterfinals than any other player. There is no doubt about that," adding, "I'm going to try to keep my routine the same and not give so much importance to the match."

The Serbian tennis superstar added, "I know what I need to do to have a chance to win. That doesn't mean that I will win. The future is unpredictable."

On the other hand, it seems that Nadal is taking things one match at a time. Right now, he is not concentrating too much on the finals.

He said, "It is not the final, you know. It's a quarterfinal. And no, the winner of that match will not be the Roland Garros champion." The Spaniard, who celebrated his 29th birthday on Wednesday, said, "They will be a semifinalist of Roland Garros. That makes a big difference. Even if its' a special match, it's a quarterfinal match."

On the women's front, world No. 1 Serena Williams will meet Sara Errani in a quarterfinals match. However, the match will not be the first one between the two this year. According to USA Today, Williams and Errani have already played against each other in a Fed Cup match in April.
