Free Legendary 'Destiny' Gift News: Bungie Releases Millions of Free Weapons to Players

Destiny players became ecstatic as developers sent a Legendary free girt to players via the game's postmaster. For those that don't know, the weapons sent out could either be primary, secondary, or heavy. On Wednesday, video game developer Bungie announced the arrival of this free gift via Twitter.

Bungie wrote: "Packages are being deployed by the millions throughout the day. Check your emails and the Postmaster for confirmation."

The day before that, the game developer hinted about the gift for 'Destiny' players.

Bungie tweeted: "A small, but Legendary token of gratitude is being prepped for delivery later this week. We'll let you know when to check the Postmaster."

The gift from the unknown benefactor can be retrieved from the Postmaster in the Tower. There is only one gift per account.

The free weapon gained various reactions from 'Destiny' players. Some gamers were thankful, but others complained since they already had the weapon.

Happy players or not, 'Destiny' is still the winner of Playstation Blog's Game of the Year award. Players voted for the game over 'Dragon Age: Inquisition', 'inFamous: Second Son', and 'Far Cry 4'.

Despite the complaints about bugs in 'Destiny' that Bungie has not been patches, but is still one of the top video games available. The problem that players encounter, when they enter a mission, such as the Vault of Glass or Crota's End has been resolved by gaming enthusiasts.

The said missions can take a group of six players and long hours to finish. The members are not automatically teamed up like most cooperative plays but they need to group themselves in the 1st outdoors section of the map. However, this may leave out other players who do not have a lot of friends who play 'Destiny'.

The players found a solution through various sites where they can meet up. Bungie's official forum, Reddit or Destiny LFG are the online websites where they can interact and team up. The player must reveal the "platform, language, character, and data" and desired activity to find matches and listings with other 'Destiny' players.

For those that don't know 'Destiny' gamers can enjoy the game on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One or the Xbox 360.
