As the "Fight of the Century" which is the fight between two of the most anticipated boxers in this time Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. draws near, ticket prices are also getting higher. Reports suggest that one of the highest ticket prices ever recorded stems from the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight which is scheduled on May 2 in Las Vegas.

With the millions of supporters on both Pacquiao and Mayweather, ticket prices are naturally going to get higher as the demand is really high. Of course, with the limited number of seats inside MGM Grand Garden Arena which already sold 10,000 apparently, ticket prices now sold as secondary market have escalated to a whopping 980% above face value.

The get-in tickets were originally priced at $108 and just last Saturday, TiqIQ revealed that the secondary market price is averaging to $179.25 which is 980% more than its face value. Reports are claiming that after last Saturday, tickets are slowly going down as the secondary market tickets increased upon finding out that they sold 900 times more than its original cost.

From the $400 ticket prices which were sold instantly, the tickets now being sold at TiqIQ are being priced at $2,685 which is reportedly the cheapest one since it is just 79% premium over the cheaper ticket which is price at $1,500.

The past week was a shock for all as ticket prices went up for an average of $3,939 for the get-in prices and now, the market seemingly are going down slowly as tickets are now priced at more than $1,000 which is a 31.8% decrease.

As the two boxers prepare for the biggest fight of their lives, a lot of supporters and fans have been weighing in as to who might win the fight and each supporter has their own bet since the two fighters, Pacquiao and Mayweather are definitely a great match to watch.
