Yahoo's Flickr VR App News: Users To Have Access With Ten Thousand Photo Files?

Yahoo's Flickr is undeniably one of the favorite among internet social media users. Develop by Yahoo a few years back, it seems like thousand registered users were excited for the newest application.

The Verge reported that Flickr will be evolving through its newest "Flickr VR App". The newest app was launched last December 9, 2015, which is made available for smart phones and other devices, allowing the user to have an access with ten thousand photo file in 360-degree level.  Accessibility of the images is possible even those files that were uploaded a few years back.

One of the goals why Yahoo made the application available to the public is to allow them to reminisce the moment via a 360-degree photo view, "Instantly throw you into that scene" as many have referred it, still it is creatively created for the enjoyment of all. The Flickr VR app also allows the user to view the images via PC as the 360 degree images are moving.

On the other hand, a blog post by Bertrand Fan says that Flickr is one of the highly respected as it allow one to upload a high quality definition of images. He added that it is the best platform for 360 degree photos as its virtual experience makes it so real.

For further reminder, Flickr is made available in Oculus Store for smart phones. Meanwhile, majority have to agree that Flickr is preferable, especially for those who have used it for a while. Though Samsung Gear VR maybe good, but Flickr is still everybody's favorite.
