'Final Fantasy 15' Release Date Reveal, Latest News: Game To Be Announced At Uncovered Event, New Character Revealed?
Along with its release date, "Final Fantasy 15" is expected to have a new character, Aranea Highwind.
In "Final Fantasy 15" Active Time Report, game director Hajime Tabata and marketing manager, introduces Highwind as the lead of Niflheim's Third Army Corps 87th Airborne Division. Also a skilled aerial fighter, Highwind is recognized as a "Dragoon" within the Imperial military.
The Active Time Report also featured combat footages showing Aranea in action, in addition to a new look of combat involving magic. According to Tabata, another playable demo could be released; however, details are yet to be concealed until March this year.
Square Enix also confirmed some events that will lead to the much anticipated release date of "Final Fantasy 15," according to IGN. As per the publication, the game would be released at the Final Fantasy Uncovered event, which will be held in Los Angeles on Mar. 30. The event will include major announcements and surprises, which may include the release date of "Final Fantasy 15."
According to Game Spot, the "Uncovered: Final Fantasy 15" event will be hosted by KindaFunny's Greg Miller and RSVP tickets will only be available to United States residents. The publication also mentioned that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game are set to come as well, concluding the waiting time of gamers.
RSVP for "Uncovered: Final Fantasy 15" is also accessible to the public on the official "Final Fantasy Uncovered" site on Feb. 5 at 4:00 p.m. PT. The event is set to have its live stream on Square Enix's YouTube and Twitch channels.
