'Final Fantasy XV' Latest News: Preparations Made On For Simultaneous Global Launch
'Final Fantasy XV' director Hajime Tabata recently revealed that they are preparing for a simultaneous global launch of the action role-playing video game. In fact, 'Final Fantasy XV' would be the maiden game of the franchise to be released simultaneously worldwide.
Quoting Polygon, Christian Today reports that Tabata's revelation has already generated a buzz around the game. This is mainly because if the launch successful, it would mean that 'Final Fantasy XV' would be the first major entry from the storied franchise to really implement a concurrent release worldwide.
According to Tabata, keeping in view the fact that 'Final Fantasy XV' is now endeavoring to break historic ground, it was necessary for Square Enix to move a few things around. Hajime Tabata further shared that he as well as Square Enix were somewhat ill at ease even to discuss the simultaneous launch, primarily because they were relatively inexperienced in this task.
For the uninitiated, generally Square Enix has a game plan which it sticks to every time it released any major 'Final Fantasy' game. Usually, the company released the game in Japan first and, sunsequently, about six months later, the game would be released in other regions like Europe and North America.
According to Game Rant, the delay in releasing the game was just because the games themselves still needed to be translated. However, there is no explanation as to why did Square Enix not opt, in the past, to wait a little longer to release the previous 'Final Fantasy' games despite having all the translations in place to enable everyone to play at the games at the same time.
Meanwhile, a report in Segment Next claims that currently the French Square Enix store lists that languages are still subject to change for 'Final Fantasy XV.' Therefore, there are speculations regarding players may be given the option of listening to 'Final Fantasy XV' in English, Japanese, or maybe even in their own native language.
In any case, fans will just have to find that out when 'Final Fantasy XV' is eventually released.
