'Final Fantasy VII Remake' Release Date News: Game Is Divided Into Episodes; Original Version Hits Android Platform
Square Enix's "Final Fantasy VII Remake" is set to come soon and in line with this, the title is revealed to be launch in an episodic fashion. Also, the seventh "Final Fantasy" game installment can now be accessed on the Android platform.
Fans can expect a pre-existing story in "Final Fantasy VII Remake," Yibada reports. According to the website, this is linked to the title's run of multi-part series. It implies a full-scale game for each episode, as per game director Yoshinori Kitase.
In an interview with Game Informer, Kitase clarified that the forthcoming "Final Fantasy" game remake would be launched episodically, adding that the title's aim was to design it to be on par with "Final Fantasy XIII." It is further revealed that each part is tied to a particular story arc taken from various points-of-view. For Kitase, it is comparative to heading towards an unfamiliar territory.
In 2015, Kitase also revealed Square Enix's desire to stretch the arc beyond the story. In Square Enix's blog, the game director wrote that with the game remake, they had the chance to go beyond the story, world, and experience of "Final Fantasy VII" in ways they had always dreamt of doing.
According to Kitase, the multi-part format also enables them to expand the original story and turn it into an epic experience for both fans and new gamers.
Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy VII" has landed on the Android platform. The game needs 4 GB of space to be installed, but it will only consume 2 GB once properly installed.
Square Enix says the Android version is set to work on several handheld devices, such as the Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony, Nexus, and newer devices that runner Android 4.3 and higher.
For the time being, exact details on the release date of "Final Fantasy VII Remake" are yet to be revealed.
