'Final Fantasy 7' Remake Release Date Rumors: Square Enix To Reveal Remake News At E3 Event?
A remake of one of the best role playing games ever, "Final Fantasy 7" has been announced recently yet we still have little information about it. For the past couple of months, the developers have been really quiet in working on the remake but we recently have news saying that we will be hearing from Square Enix in this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3.
According to Christian Times, the game might not be released this year. Many fans are disappointed to know that the remake and also another fan favorite, "Kingdom Hearts 3," will not be released in 2016. Maybe the reason behind it is because Square Enix is focused on the release of the latest Final Fantasy.
Game Informer got a chance to interview producer Yoshinori Kitase. Kitase said that there will be multiple episodes where each episode will be a full-scale game. Will this bore the fans they will only be receiving in partial a couple of prolonged episodes?
"It will essentially be a full-scale game for each part of the multi-part series [...] if we're just looking at each of these parts, one part should be on par with the scale of one Final Fantasy XIII game," Kitase said.
" We already have a preexisting story, so it wouldn't really make sense if that isn't encompassed in a multi-part series... So if we're just looking at each of these parts, one part should be on par with the scale of one Final Fantasy XIII game." he added.
