‘Final Fantasy 7' Remake Release Date: No News Yet On Scheduled Launch Date

There's still no news yet on the release date of "Final Fantasy 7 remake despite the hype surrounding the game.

The only thing people know so far is that it's going to be launched on PlayStation 4.

According to Den of Geek, nobody's even begging Square Enix for the "Final Fantasy 7" remake release date anymore, even if fans are still lapping up any kind of news in relation to the JRPG classic.

The hype is real, however, considering that it was considered a breakthrough game in 1997 and was to become the standard of all JPRG titles.

The plot has evolved over the years, with a lot of side stories and characters added, but basically the story revolves about Shinra, a corporation that managed to convert earth's life energy into fossil fuel. However, that resource is not perpetual. In the meantime, the corporation has become the world's only superpower.

Cloud Strife, Tifa and Barret and a bunch of friends are trying to save the world from Sephiroth, the result of the experiment of Shinra. But Sephiroth has other plans for the life energy as he wants to exploit it to become the overlord. The way to do that is to summon a meteor that will hit the earth thereby releasing an insane amount of life energy toward him.

But then again the "Final Fantasy 7" remake release date gets more complicated as it was revealed by producer Yoshinori Kitase that it will have three separate games.

"It will essentially be a full scale game for each part of the multi-part series. In 13, each installment told the story from a different angle. It was kind of like approaching an unknown territory in a sense," he told Game Informer.
