'Final Fantasy 15' Release Date, News: Game Set To Feature Titan-Niflheim Battle
New details on the game play of Square Enix's "Final Fantasy XV" have surfaced.
With regard the game play, "Final Fantasy XV" is set to see an army battle between Titan and Niflheim. According to Gematsu, players are bound to encounter large creatures called "Astral." As per the publication, these beings can lend players their power in a battle.
It is revealed that the Titan Astral, the one that carries a big rock on its back, just thrive silently in some areas of the Earth. On the other hand, the Niflheim army utilizes its military arsenal to take down the Titan. Moreover, Noctis and his crew head to the battle between the two parties. It is further noted that the group would be able to use the Titan's power if they exhibit their strength to it.
"Final Fantasy XV" is set to be supported by the Virtual Reality (VR) technology and some players have tested the game's VR experience, according to Digital Trends. As per the publication, the title is not truly a game, per se. It is revealed that players can manipulate Prompto, pistol-wielding member of the Noctis' group.
The character is set to fight beasts like the large-horned Behemoth and back up the party by shooting the aforementioned creature repeatedly until it dies. It is best to hit its body, not just the head and tail, to kill it.
With regard the release date, "Final Fantasy XV" is set to be released after the 3DA remake of "Dragon Quest VII." In their interview with Kotaku, 3DS producer Noriyoshi Fujimoto and franchise producer Yu Miyake said that fans could play the latter title during the "Final Fantasy" movies. Miyake added that they could play both titles interchangeably at school, at the office, or at home.
Square Enix's "Final Fantasy XV" is set to come on on Sept. 30 after "Dragon Quest VII," which is set to be released on Sept. 16.
