'Fifty Shades of Grey' Release Date, Movie News: Author E.L James Talks Film, Next Book

Author E.L. James is no ordinary fan of the upcoming 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie; she is the writer behind the original novel series.

The author was "on set every day," and excited for her upcoming film. "Seeing the characters and story come to life was an intense and surreal experience. I'm very happy with the casting. Dakota [Johnson] and Jamie [Dornan] have done an amazing job and they're going to become huge movie stars - they deserve to," James told People.

Now that her part in producing the film is done, the author will have more time to concentrate on her writing. She hopes to make another romantic novel, "I believe that's what readers enjoy most about '50 Shades'," the author commented.

As for the original series that made her the famous author she is, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele are returning to stores... in the form of wine. E.L. James is releasing a collection of wines that will be based on the '50 Shades of Grey' characters and their relationships. The collections will be comprised of red and white wines.

"It didn't seem like a big leap to making a wine inspired by 'Fifty Shades'," the author stated. She wanted to make the connection to Christian Grey and his notable love of wine.

On choosing the right vino for the collection, James said: "We sampled a few blends until we came up with one we were happy with, and that I felt Christian would be happy with, too."

The 'Fifty Shades of Grey' film is scheduled to be released on Valentine's Day weekend this year.
