The sequel of the extremely popular film, Fifty Shades of Grey, is still two years from its release date, but teasers for the film have already started popping up.

Our first look at Fifty Shades Darker shows Jamie Dornan, who plays Christian Grey in the films, wearing an attractive tuxedo.

The footage has allegedly been leaked online by fan, as it was supposed to be an exclusive feature on the Fifty Shades of Grey DVD release in the United States.

The clip shows Christian Grey preparing for a masquerade ball. The entire clip lasts about 30 seconds, and consists of Christian putting on a masquerade mask, as the word "Are you ready for something darker?" appear on the screen, after which the clip changes color to black and white.

The leading lady of the film, Anastasia Steele, played by Dakota Johnson, does not make an appearance in the film, but there is the sound of a woman's breathing at the end of the clip which fans might assume represents her presence.

Even though the teaser is working to keep fans in eager anticipation of the film, Fifty Shades Darker still does not have a director.

This comes after Sam Taylor- Johnson, who directed the first film, had a conflict with E.L. James on the set.

The second film has been described, however, as "more of a thriller," which leaves the door open for some quite intriguing possibilities.

On that note, there is a new writer on board for the film, E.L. James' husband, Niall Leonard.
