'Fifty Shades Darker' Cast News: Rita Ora will Appear in Both 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Sequels
Rita Ora, known for her role as a judge on the popular television show, The Voice, is set to star in both sequels of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie trilogy.
In the first movie, which was released in February, she only had four lines. However, it appears that she has been able to secure her place in all three movies, in which she plays the role of Christian Grey's sister.
This news was revealed by way of the Sony Pictures emails which were released by Wikileaks.
In an email message to Amy Pascal, the former CEO of Sony Pictures, Ora's United States agent, Franklin Latt, of top Hollywood talent agency, CAA, wrote: "Rita, 23, will appear in Universal's upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey playing the role of 'Mia Grey' and will appear in the next two installments of the movie."
These roles come Ora's way after she was described as a "firecracker" by the director of the movies, Sam Taylor Johnson.
Johnson has admitted to being a huge fan of the star, but had said earlier that she would not have been involved in the remaining films after having a confrontation with the writer of the book series and screenplay, E.L. James.
Critics did not give much positive feedback for Ora's role in the movie, which only lasts for about 90 seconds.
However, Ora has responded to the criticism by saying that she was glad to make her cameo, and that it has opened the door for a lot of other acting opportunities which she cannot reveal as yet.
