'FIFA 17' News Update: Story Mode Added For The First Time

Football may be the most popular sport in the world and with that, football and gaming enthusiasts might want to know that there will be new features in the upcoming "FIFA 17" created by EA Sports.

According to 90min, for the very first time, there will be a story mode added in the game. The "My Journey" campaign will be about a potential football star named Alex Hunter. The campaign will follow his journey as he tries to find success in the Premier League.

Players can now also have more controls over set-piece situations in the game. There will be a new option called "Set Piece Rewrite" which will let the player design the free kick and penalty kick run ups. As for throw-ins, a new feature will be added which will allow players to do a fake pass.

The "Set Piece Rewrite" was influenced by Real Madrid football player James Rodriguez. Players can step back or change where he will be coming from before the kick allowing him to change his pace or direction to keep the defenders guessing where the ball will go. With this feature, gamers will be able to create variety as well as use their creativity.
