Female rocker Zahna is set to release her solo debut album, Red For War, on Aug. 17 on RockFest Records. Produced by Joshua Bertrand, of Christian rock innovators and Billboard hitmakers Random Hero, the 10-track project is described as an "in-your-face battle cry," drawing inspiration from a season of challenges for the artist.

"I can let this bitterness fester inside of me, or I can fight the devil," Zahna says of recent trials which inspired the project. "Every disappointment is just a setup for something greater-not because we deserve it, but because we're children of God. We have that right as daughters and sons of God. At the end of the day, we win, no matter what."

Highlighting what listeners can expect from Red For War is Zahna's debut single, "Underneath," which reached No. 4 on Billboard's Christian Rock chart. With its driving guitars and Zahna's stand-out vocal range, the song is a powerful reminder that nothing is hidden from the Lord.

The album opener, "Unshaken," further showcases Zahan's unique musicality, declaring God's sovereignty over our lives, as the artist blends gut-wrenching, visceral screams with ethereal, clean vocals. Red For War will also feature such diverse tracks as the synth-driven "Was I Bad," the ballad "Edge of the Earth," and "Misery," with the latter grieving betrayal but, as Zahana describes it, ultimately "pointing to the One who is always trustworthy."
