'Fear The Walking Dead' Spin-Off Series News: New AMC Show Finally Gets Official Title
The only thing that can excite 'Walking Dead' fans more than the actual show is perhaps the announced spin-off series, and how the title for it has finally been made known.
Show creator, Robert Kirkman, recently took to Twitter to make the official statement:
"IT'S OFFICIAL! The walking dead companion show on AMC is called FEAR THE WALKING DEAD! Expect more news very soon! ?#FearTheWalkingDead"
It's a bold move for the showrunners to give it such a similar name to the original, as they've stated on how the show will be a totally separate entity for its predecessor, however this way the show will never break away from the original's identity.
Fans will just have to wait and see how they craft it to make their initial judgments. 'Fear The Walking Dead' has only just released some on-set pictures of the series so far.
"Fear The Walking Dead will star Kim Dickens (Gone Girl, House of Cards) and Cliff Curtis (Live Free or Die Hard, Sunshine), and it will take place in Los Angeles during the time when Rick is in a coma before the opening of The Walking Dead pilot. The show will air its first trailer during this Sunday's Walking Dead finale, and it will premiere sometime late this summer," writes Geek Tyrant.
