'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 2 News, Spoilers: Nick's New Solitary Life?

The new trailer for "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2B that was recently unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 did not fall short of getting fans even more thrilled for what is yet to come.

The midseason 2 finale saw Daniel die in flames after he started a fire while suffering from hallucinations. It also followed Chris as he worked through his own issues and broke away from the group along with Travis. The most climactic part was when Nick decided to leave his mother and sister to be on his own.

The events in the season 2 finale left only Madison, Alicia, Ofelia and Strand as the remaining members of the Abigail group. After living on a yacht in hopes of ensuring their safety, they ended up choosing to go back to the land and stay in an enclosed compound.

In the trailer for season 2B, Nick is all by himself. It opens with a scene that offers a glimpse of Nick's new solitary life which he chose for himself.

"I'm never gonna see Nick again. You leave him alone, he heads straight towards death," tells Madison to Strand.

The video shows Madison not giving up that easily on her son, so she continues to search for him despite Alicia and Strand warning her not to. Nick comes across a community in Tijuana, where new lawless characters are shown watching and chanting while a man offers himself as a sacrifice to the walkers. Nick gets shot by one of them, and then falls on the ground wounded. A woman then rescues him and takes him to the doctor.

"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2B returns on Aug. 14 on AMC.
