'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 2 Spoilers, News: Survivors Deal With Supply Challenges
The survivors will be forced to face the increasingly desperate and life-threatening scenarios experienced by Rick and his group of "The Walking Dead" in the midseason premiere of "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2.
In the midseason finale, the Clark and Manawa clans were broken down into groups following the fire set by Daniel at Thomas' Mexican compound.
Just recently, the cast members of "Fear the Walking Dead," along with showrunner Dave Erickson and executive producer Gale Anne Hurd had an interview with Yahoo TV, where they revealed what's ahead in the final eight episodes of season 2.
"Now that the world has expanded, we can tell greater stories, we can explore different communities," said Hurd.
"There are now not only more and more infected, but in order to survive, the stakes are even greater," she added.
The executive producer revealed during the interview that the survivors will face new challenges in the upcoming season, including supply challenges and new herds of the dead, and these will all happen while Madison and Travis are apart.
Season 2 will also see Chris growing more and more dangerous, and Strand fighting his inner demons following the death of Thomas. Moreover, while Ofelia continues to mourn the death of her parents to the point of wanting to lose her life, Nick continues to get fascinated with the dead.
Actor Frank Dillane, who plays Nick, revealed that Nick will try to get someplace where there are people who empathize with the dead the way he does.
"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 returns on Aug. 21, 9:00 p.m. on AMC.
