AMC recently revealed the premiere of the "Fear The Walking Dead" season 2. The sophomore season is said to air on an earlier date compared to the season premiere of the first season.

According to Cinema Blend, the show will return on April 10. It will be on the same time slot as HBO's "Game of Thrones." With the huge ratings that they have last season, will this young TV series be able to match up well against one of the giants in television today?

We last saw the main characters on a boat; about to take a new journey through sea. What will the huge body of water offer them in the coming episodes?

Also, there's an on going semi-spin off; a 16-part mini-series that aired during the commercial breaks of "The Walking Dead" season 6. The series is entitled "Flight 462." It's reported that there will be a zombie apocalypse in an airplane in mid-flight and the survivor of the flight will be included in season 2 of FTWD. The mini-series has already aired eight episodes according to IB Times UK and will continue to air the other eight once "The Walking Dead" returns from its mid-season break.

"Fear The Walking Dead" has scored 76 percent from Rotten Tomatoes' "Tomatometer" while getting 61 percent from the average audience. The International Movie Database has scored the series 7.5/10.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 will return on Valentine's Day while the "Fear The Walking Dead" season 2 will be premiered on April 10. The wait is almost over for the fans of these zombie apocalypse television series.
