'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 2 Currently Being Filmed In Mexico, Release Date In Spring 2016?
It's good to hear that the production of "Fear The Walking Dead" season 2 is underway.
AMC announced that they are filming in Baja Studios, Mexico; the same studio where the iconic movie, Titanic, was filmed.
"We are thrilled to be starting production and even more thrilled to be shooting in Mexico. Baja Studios has been home to some of the greatest ocean-set films in recent years and provides all the creative resources we need to begin this new chapter in the 'Fear' saga. We couldn't be happier," said Dave Erickson, co-creator of "Fear The Walking Dead."
The story of Madison (Kim Dickens) continues along with her boyfriend, Travis (Cliff Curtis), her daughter Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), and her son, Nick (Frank Dillane). Travis is also accompanied by his son, Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie). The story will pick up where it left off; Strand (Colman Domingo), a guy that Travis met, brought everyone to a cliff side home and targets to get a yacht named "Abigail."
We all know that the characters will travel by sea, but we don't know how much part of the series will the travelling be. Co-creator Robert Kirkman, previously teased fans of what might happen in season 2.
"Just because it's going to be taking place on the boat doesn't mean it's going to be taking place on the boat all the time. There's a lot of reason to get off the boat," he explained.
According to My Informs, "Fear The Walking Dead" delivers the highest-rated first season of any series in cable history. Erickson and Kirkman along with co-Executive Producers Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert are pleased to announce that the series will have a second season containing 15 episodes; which is likely to return next spring.
