'Fast and Furious 8' Cast, Release Date, Latest News: Late Paul Walker's Character Replaced By Justin Bieber?

Along with talks that a horse died at the set of F. Gary Gray's upcoming action thriller film "Fast and Furious 8," "Love Yourself" singer Justin Bieber has also been rumored to join the film's cast.

Canadian singer Bieber is set to join the growing cast ensemble of "Fast 8," according to Movie Pilot. As per the publication, some rumors say that the "Love Yourself" singer is set to play a character who will take over the role of the late Paul Walker. Other rumors, however, suggest that Bieber is set to play an original character in the film, but it is yet to be announced.

Aside from Bieber, "Suicide Squad's" Cara Delevingne is also set to be part of Gray's "Fast 8;" however, her role is yet to be revealed. According to Parent Herald, the actress' inclusion to the eighth "Fast and Furious" film installment might cause tension with co-star Michelle Rodriguez, but the latter confirmed that it was alright to have Delevingne as part of the "Fast and Furious" family.

In other news, a tragedy on the "Fast and Furious 8" led to the death of a horse named Jupiter, Screen Rant reported. According to the publication, gale force winds on the film's set on Iceland sent a fake iceberg flying into a nearby horse paddock, injuring two horses. The publication clarified that the other horse is set to recover from the incident, but the magnitude of Jupiters' injuries indicated the need for euthanasia.

"Fast 8" has started filming in Iceland and it was previously revealed that new car models are set to be seen in the film. According to Jalopnik, the film is set to see models like the Lamborghini Imprezas, Murcielagos, and Rally Fighter, in addition to the Mazda RX-7, RB-Swapped 1967 Ford Mustang, 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 1987 Buick GNX, Jensen Interceptor, and Corvette Grand Sport, among others.

Gray's "Fast and Furious 8" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on Apr. 14, 2017.
