For all "Far Cry" fans out there, Ubisoft proudly announced recently that the new patch for game is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

According to the game's forum, the patch can now be downloaded for free. The Patch 3 download size for the PC would be 1.1 GB; for the PlayStation 4, it will be 849 MB and for the Xbox One, 817MB. There will also be an Ultra-HD Texture pack which would only be available for the PC. Its download size will be 3.5 GB and it should be downloaded separately through Steam or Uplay.

The patch will introduce the "Survivor Mode" into the game. There will also be a stamina bar added in the game to create more diversity in the gameplay. The player's stamina will gradually deplete throughout the game. The gravity of the energy drain would depend on the player's movements. If the player is running, the stamina will deplete faster compare to when the player is just walking. Manual heal and fast travel would also cost the player's stamina to deplete. Players can refuel their energy either by sleeping or eating some food.

Also according to the site, there would be new achievements and Ubisoft Club badges. The first achievement is named "TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN" and all that needs to be done by the players is to finish the survival mode. The second achievement is the "TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN (2ND CHANCE)," the players should finish the survival mode at any difficulty while the 2nd chance option is turned on.

The third one is "TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN (PERMADEATH)," gamers should finish the game with the Permadeath option ON. Finally, the last achievement is "SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST" where gamers should finish the game in Survivor mode at Expert difficulty level and the Permadeath option turned on.
