'Far Cry Primal' New Update, Latest News: HUD Option Offers Better Gaming Experience

A new update for the popular "Far Cry Primal" takes out all the distractions from the screen and allows the user to take in the majestic environment and focus on the gameplay.

According to Games Radar, the new update allows users to turn off the heads-up display or HUD.

The article went on to add, "If you want to immerse yourself deeper in the action, but aren't quite ready to give up all the modern conveniences of a HUD, the update also adds a new option to toggle off displaying enemy locations on the minimap - much to the chagrin of your owl buddy who takes so much care marking them for you, I'm sure."

The recent update on "Far Cry Primal" also improved on the stability of the game, said VG247.

"A fix has been applied to 'low occurrence' specific crashes," it said. "Gameplay, lighting, wildlife, AI, missions, UI and specific problems with the map have all been looked into and should make the experience a much better one."

Tech Times, meanwhile, gave due credit to Ubisoft for quietly offering the update at no extra cost to the buyers of the "Far Cry Primal."

"The majority of the update is dedicated to fixing various bugs, such as issues where players are unable to travel fast or even loot items," it said. "Some missing audio and sound effects have even been added. Most of the glitches sound like they are fairly rare occurrences, but it's still nice to see Ubisoft updating the game in the weeks after its launch."
