Ubisoft's 'Far Cry 4' has been confirmed to have several secret and alternate endings, and one of which can lead the gamer to a special new mini location.

The first person shooter game 'Far Cry 4' tells the story of Ajay Ghale who is on a bus to Kyrat with his mother's ashes. The bus gets attacked and Pagan Min appears, an evil tyrant who ruled Kyrat.

Pagan Min takes Ghale and another person on the bus with him to his fortress and has them partake in a meal, while the other bus riders ended up getting tortured. This is where the first known alternate ending becomes available.

There is a moment where Pagan Min exits the room, giving players a chance to either wait for his return or flee with the other captive. Most players would choose to run, which will start the civil war in which the game is centered. However, if the player decided to make Ghale sit and wait, he and Pagan Min will become friends and point Ghale to a place where he could scatter his mother's ashes.

However, the game's creative director Alex Hutchinson wrote about another ending on Twitter, confirming another "super secret alternate ending."

Hutchinson wrote that players needed "to make a snap decision" and find themselves redirected to a new mini location. He also mentioned other "mini moments" that appear in the middle of the game, while some "undiscovered stuff" happen at the end.

He explained that these "mini moments" were "dead branches" that do not affect the general story or ending of the game. The development team put it in the game for fun and to allow players to experience more during their missions.

Readers and gamers from Kotaku have identified that the other alternate ending can be triggered by the end of the game, where Ghale can choose to kill Pagan Min or not. By keeping him alive, the player gets to play another storyline and eventually find themselves at a helicopter crash site.

There has been no news as of yet as to what the "mini moments" referred to or if there are any other endings, and gamers are keeping their eyes peeled for more.
