'Fallout Shelter' Update & Latest News: New Content Includes Quests, Themes And Locations
Bethesda has released a new content update for "Fallout Shelter."
Version 1.9 offers new quests and Thanksgiving-themed content to the game, such as Thanksgiving room themes and stickers for iOS 10 iMessage. The patch also adds a new location to the Vault-building game, the Caves.
As new quests were added, the regular, weekly and special quests were updated with holiday-themed quests. All throughout the month, players will be able to play all these unique quests and unlock the themed room visuals and outfits.
In "Fallout Shelter," players build underground Vaults to guard their Dwellers from the Wasteland at the surface. Given the new update, they can now bring their Dwellers on quests to the newly introduced cave locations. The update also offers new regular and weekly quests for players.
The Thanksgiving event of the updated game will allow gamers to complete limited-time quests, as well as amass outfits from the game's Lunchboxes, which are all also Thanksgiving-themed. The update also includes new Thanksgiving room themes both for the Cafeteria and the Residence rooms.
Aside from the new locations and themes, the update also makes available new stickers for iMessage users on iOS 10. The stickers include Thanksgiving-themed stickers and some stickers that are based on Bottle and Cappy, who are popular "Fallout 4" Nuka-world mascots.
According to reports, celebrations of Christmas and New Year will be represented in the game next month featuring new limited-time quests.
"Fallout Shelter" is available for download for free on Google Play and iTunes App Store.
