'Fallout Shelter' Update 1.5 News, Details: Features Include The 3D Touch Support?

Bethesda revealed the details of the "Fallout Shelter" update 1.5 and one of the features is the ability to easily scrap items that you no longer need.

In a blog post, the developer revealed that the scrapping feature in "Fallout Shelter" update 1.5 allows the gamer to clean out the Storage rooms, and thereby "craft some cool new stuff."

"We've also added new customization options to the Barbershop and new civilian outfits to craft or find in lunchboxes. You'll hardly even recognize your dwellers when you're done with them. You can even make them look like Ghouls," it said.

Another feature of the "Fallout Shelter" update 1.5 is the 3D Touch support. Using the new tech, gamers can skip the main menu and go directly to their vaults. The 3D Touch can also be utilized to allot the Dwellers to their assigned rooms, or just tap the Storage Room to go directly to the storage.

The "Fallout Shelter" update 1.5 came on the heels of the last reported change (update 1.4) where gamers were given a lot of leeway to customize their Dwellers by changing their gears, clothes and weapons.

The Dwellers can also explore the wasteland and collect precious junk which they can use to purchase even better items.

"Bethesda has made sure that the constantly gets new features. The game has seen the addition of new rooms, characters from Fallout 4, pets, new outfits and weapons," IB Times said.

You can download "Fallout Shelter" for free on Google Play or the App Store. The game was launched on June 14, 2015.
