'Fallout 4' Update 1.5 Details, Release News: ‘Survival Mode’ Going To Keep Players Interested In The Game?
With more titles being released than games can hope to keep up, developers have been racking their brains to keep their titles interesting. That's just what the news of the "Fallout 4" update 1.5 brings, which included the Far Harbor DLC.
Why is that significant?
The "Fallout 4" update 1.5 will introduce "Survival Mode" into the game, which promises to mix it up for the players.
Bethesda made the announcement on Twitter on May 6 where it said, "In preparation for #FarHarbor, the 1.5 update for #Fallout4, feat. the revamped Survival Mode, is live on Xbox & PS4."
But what is this Survival Mode for "Fallout 4?"
"This new difficulty will challenge players to think more about the way they play, and provide a more realistic simulation of the post-apocalyptic setting," N4BB explained.
Players will also find it difficult to scour for resources or go fast travel. They can contract diseases and the attacks also cause more damage, which means that they really have to use a sound strategy and hide if necessary, rather than engage the raiders or monsters.
The "Fallout 4" update 1.5 also provides fixes to the bugs in the game, as well as improving the overall stability of the game especially since PC users have been complaining of crashes while playing the game. For full list of the fixes, go here.
Those who haven't downloaded the "Fallout 4" update 1.5 yet, they have to first check their hard drive or Internet connection considering the size of the file (about 2.3GB for Xbox One).
