‘Fallout 4’ Release Date, Latest Rumors: Still Unconfirmed, Possible Surprise November 2014 Launch?

A lot of gamers have been anticipating the release of 'Fallout 4' on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but reports say that it is still unknown whether the game will be released at all.

The game developers have released very little to no information at all regarding 'Fallout 4', but there have been speculations about the game's development. Some fans believe that the game is currently being developed for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC, but other people from the gaming community believe that the game's development has been stopped by Bethesda, and the helm has been passed over to Battle Studios.

Rumors about 'Fallout 4' surfaced immediately after the release of its predecessor, 'Fallout 3' in 2008, despite the absence of a confirmation from game creators.

It is said that an official announcement is not likely to happen, since Bethesda Game Studios previously stated that it prefers to surprise the gamers, rather than announcing the game details prior to its release date.

It is rumored that the developers have been working on making the game since February 2012. Back then, Bethesda Game Studios reportedly hired programmers for an unannounced game which will be available on future generation consoles, but the company focused its attention on developing DLC for 'Skyrim'.

A year ago, the studio finished the DLC development for the 'Elder Scrolls' title and it was announced that the company has already started to focus on the development of another game, which is presumably 'Fallout 4'.

"Parts of our team have also been in pre-production on our next major project, and that game is at the point where it requires the studio's full attention to make it our biggest and best work yet," Bethesda pointed out.

Meanwhile, other rumors say that the 'Fallout 4' may be released as a surprise in November of this year.

Other reports, however, state that a November release date for the said game is unlikely, since Bethesda may need more time to develop the game for the new consoles which the company is not familiar with.
