'Fallout 4' DLC Release Date News: First DLC Arriving On March 22; Available On Xbox One, PS4, PC

Good news for fans as Bethesda has confirmed the upcoming "Fallout 4" DLC for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.

The new DLC is called Automatron, which will introduce Ada the Robot which will become the player's companion/guide as he explores the wasteland.

The storyline of the new "Fallout 4" DLC revolves around the enigmatic Mechanist who let loose a multitude of sinister robots into the Commonwealth, led by Robobrain.

The Bethesda website said, "Hunt them down and harvest their parts to build and mod your own custom robot companions. Choose from hundreds of mods; mixing limbs, armor, abilities, and weapons such as the all-new lightning chain gun. Even customize their paint schemes and choose their voices!"

The "Fallout 4" DLC is confirmed to be launched on Mar. 22, according to multiple news reports.

"In April, we're expanding the capabilities of settlements with Wasteland Workshop, and in May, travel beyond the Commonwealth to Maine for Far Harbor - the largest landmass Bethesda Game Studios has ever created for post-release content," the news site added.

That means there's probably more DLC for "Fallout 4" after the Mar. 22 launch, so visit the Bethesda website for more news updates on post-release downloads.

The developer even teased updates on the Creation Kit and Survival Mode in the coming weeks or months.

However, there's a bit of bad news for "Fallout 4" fans as the price for the DLC season pass has been increased from $30 to $50, said Gamespot.

After Automatron, Wasteland Workshop can be downloaded for $5, while Far Harbor carries a price tag of $25.
