'Fallout 4' DLC News: Game Includes A ‘Generous’ Character Based On A Player’s Brother
In line with Bethesda's "Fallout 4," the studio reportedly included a character after a player's brother.
Reddit user NoohjXLVII, also known as Andy, revealed the information on the forum website. On Sept. 1, he wrote "Hey guys, it's me again. I'm the one who posted that depressing post a couple months back, Bethesda responded to that post by turning his brother into a character that you can find in Nuka World."
According to Engadget, players will see the character at the southernmost part of "Nuka World's" map. As per the publication, the character is generous, just like his real-life counterpart. While the virtual Evan does not exactly look like the real one, the character reportedly hold's his essence in-game, as he will give players' character whatever he can.
As per Forbes, Evan gives players supplies, Nuka Cola recipe, and inform players to help themselves to whatever they get. Together will a nice voice work, the character has reportedly christened "Good Guy Evan" by players.
In Andy's Reddit post in July, he gave an update Evan's status, mentioning his brother's qualities. He wrote that his brother was kind, uplifting, optimistic, and caring, along with the revelation that the later had always wanted to be a super mutant and he had wanted to be a ghoul, so they could travel the world together.
As per Engadget, players can contribute to help Andy and Evan's family in GoFundMe campaign. In the description on the website, the last paragraph says that the campaign is to honor Evan's memory by helping his family, just as much as he helped others. It is added that Evan has brightened everyone's life and it is others' hope to keep that light going.
Released in Nov. 2015, "Fallout 4" is playable on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows.
