'Fallout 4' DLC News: New 'Far Harbor' Update Fixes PlayStation 4 Problems

An update to the "Fallout 4" DLC, "Far Harbor," is now accessible to players and it has brought some good news, particularly since it provides a fix to issues on the Sony PlayStation 4.

Because of the serious performance issues on the PS4 version of the DLC, Bethesda developed and released an update for its "Fallout 4: Far Harbor." In a statement, as cited by Express UK, the gaming company mentioned that an updated version of Far Harbor that addresses performance issues is now available on PlayStation Network.

According to Bethesda the entire expansion has to be downloaded again by gamers. This can be done by confirming that "Fallout 4" is not running. Then, the player highlights "Fallout 4" in his PlayStation 4 dashboard. Next, the player presses "Options" and selects "Close Application" to ascertain that the game is not running when minimized.

After that, the player selects "Related Items," which can be found under the "Fallout 4" icon in the PlayStation 4 dashboard. Then, the player selects "My Add-ons." Next, he goes to the download arrow beside "Far Harbor" and selects it.

The player should expect to see a notice that "Far Harbor" has been added to "Downloads." Finally, the player waits for the DLC to finish downloading and installing before starting the game.

The said update has already been released in North America, but gamers in Europe have yet to wait for further details on the updates exact release in the region. Bethesda reassured in a statement that they would have more information on the EU update to Far Harbor on the PlayStation 4 in the very near future, expressing their gratitude for gamers' patience.

Set in Maine, "Fallout 4: Far Harbor" has gained positive feedback from critics and players. According to Extreme Tech, the game's PlayStation 4 version got 75 percent while the Xbox One and Microsoft version got 79 percent.

"Fallout 4: Far Harbor" DLC came out on May 19 for the PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One.
