'Fallout 4' 1.3 Patch Update: New DLC Available In Beta, PC Users Only Can Access?

The Fallout 4 1.3 patch has been confirmed and Bethesda has provided us with some information regarding the changes that the update will bring, according to Gotta Be Mobile.

The new DLC would only be available in beta for the mean time and only PC users could access of this patch as of now. According to the site, here's how PC gamers could get the DLC:

  1. Log into Steam.
  2. Right click Fallout 4 in the Library.
  3. Select Settings option.
  4. Select Betas option.
  5. Select Beta Update on the drop down menu.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Wait several minutes as the game updates.
  8. Fallout 4 should appear as Fallout 4 [beta] in the Library afterwards.

Aside from bug fixes, the site also says that the DLC also offers new effects, controller improvements and a new status menu. The new features of the beta version would have new ambient occlusion setting (HBAO+), new weapon debris effects for those who have NVIDIA cards, added status menu for settlers, added ability features of rotating an object you are holding and also a better "ESDF" keys remapping support while players are in "Workshop" mode.

A new beta build will also be available since the down side of this patch is that it loads slower.

This patch will have a lot of fixes in terms of gameplay fixes, quest fixes and as well as workshop fixes. There is no official date for the release yet but we do know is that it will be available for beta for PC first, then a public release for PC and finally a release for the other gaming consoles.
