As he put the entire city of Hargeon under his Historia magic, Laxus, Grimore Heart Hades, Gray, Leon, Melody and Ezra faced their daunting opponents from the past. Ultimately, Kyoka overpowered Neinhart's magic with his glare, and just when the mighty one from Spriggan 12 was about to make a move against him, the revived Jellal interfered to come face to face with him.

Most fans speculate that the next installment of the series will see Neinhart's defeat and death. According to fans, there is a huge chance for Kagura to collaborate with Jellal, consequently outwitting the Spriggan guard.
