The Gildarts are set to come in time to battle August while Eileen is rumored as a Dragon Slayer in "Fairy Tail" chapter 487.

According to a storyline predicted by Reddit user FT's Twitter Stalker analextremeteemo, Natsu is set to make Mest and Lucy stay back as he and Brandish move forward to talk to August and unleash the "lil bro bomb," which sets up a fight. In line with this fight is the rise of the Gildarts or the recovery of the four wizard saints.

The Reddit user also predicted that that Irene would potentially have the Gildarts' treatment, as Acnologia was in dragon form, adding that the the former would be seized and placed in the infirmary where Ezra would be. Finally, it is also speculated that Gajeel might penetrate the dragon force if Levy is in danger.

Meanwhile, Eileen could be the fifth Dragon Slayer in "Fairy Tail" chapter 487, as per fan speculations. A fan named Dian Glass wrote on Manga Stream discussion website Disqus that Eileen could be in the same race as Wendy, Sting, Rogue, and Natsu. The rumor ignited after Acnologia killed god Serena and said that there were five more to go.

Fans also concluded that Eileen could be the fifth Dragon Slayer in "Fairy Tail," since the character demonstrate excitement on Acnologia's arrical, along with her choice to take him down. Furthermore, it is revealed that Eileen's powers will be fully unleashed with Acnologia's arrival, which confirms her as a Dragon Slayer.
