Facebook’s Newest Version Intends to Create Professional Services Online

Social online networking Facebook is facing a new phase of giving services to the client. The multimillion worth website developed by Mark Zuckerberg a few years back is on its way to developing a new social interacting site for professionals this time. Just like LinkedIn, Facebook aimed to create an interacting site for professionals to give them a chance to meet others of the same vocation.

Christian Post reported that Facebook spokesperson Vanessa Chan released a statement with regards to the upcoming released of the newest version of Facebook. The social networking company intends to make the latest version exclusive for professionals and other workers. However, games will not be available this time as it intends to promote a professional theme.

In addition to the report, Facebook will retain the old look only that game will be out from the system this time. On the other hand, Facebook director of global platform Julien Codorniou's commented on an interview by Reuters saying that ninety five percent of the features for "Facebook at work" will come from the previous version, only that professional apps will be added. So far, no added statement was given with regards to how FB Prof will look like.

Furthermore, the Facebook professional services will allow the user to create a profile separate from their personal non-prof account that will allow one to hide post for privacy.

So far, Facebook invited 300 companies to participate in the pilot testing to see the effectivity and relativity of the newest FB at work version. Some of the companies who participated in the testing are Royal Bank of Scotland and French Resort Firm Club.
