'Fable Legends' News: Lionhead Studios Officially Shutdown; How To Claim A Refund?

Lionhead Studios, maker of "Fable Legends," has confirmed its shutdown and thanked fans for their support.

"All of us here at Lionhead Studios would like to thank you for participating in the closed beta and being a part of the game's development," the studio said in a statement.

"All stories have to end eventually, but the memories of Heroic triumphs and Villainous plots will last forever. Thank you for your support - you are all Legends!"

With the shutdown of Lionhead Studios, the next step therefore is how to claim the refund by players of "Fable Legends."

The studio has recommended that players check their Microsoft Account.

"If you have not yet received your refund, please be patient and check back again soon. We will send another notification message to all players when all refunds are complete," it said.

In order to check the inbox on Xbox One, just double click the Xbox button on the controller to open the guide, choose the Messages icon underneath the Achievements.

"To check for messages on Windows 10, you'll need to launch the Xbox app by selecting it in your Start Menu or by opening the start menu and typing Xbox," it said. "Depending on which version of the app you have installed the messages icon will be either in the left-side navigation panel, or on the upper right part of your home screen, near your friends list."

It's not clear what "Fable Legends" maker, Lionhead Studios. will do next after the shutdown.

But according to Game Informer, there might be hope for the "Fable Legends" game although a Microsoft rep told the website that they are not "sharing additional details" about the Lionhead Studios shutdown just yet.
