'Expendable 4' Cast Rumors: Pierce Brosnan, Jackie Chan, Hulk Hogan, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to Star in Upcoming Movie?

Although Sylvester Stallone has confined that the upcoming action film 'Expendable 4' is in the making, there is no concrete information regarding the movie. While numerous rumors regarding the movie keep floating on the Internet, much remains to be completed, including the casting.

According to Christian Today, there have been rumors providing juicy details and some even claimed that a number of big names in the industry may be starring in the upcoming action-packed film. One of these rumors claimed that 'The November Man' star Pierce Brosnan will star in the 'Expendable 4.' It is said that the 61-year-old Irish actor is ideal for playing one of the characters in the movie, though nothing has been officially said about Brosnan participating in the action-filled movie.

Moreover, it is being rumored that the Chinese-origin actor Jackie Chan, famous of his acrobatic fighting style, may feature in the 'Expendable 4' and also perform some breathtaking stunts. Conversely, Venture Capital Post reported that currently Chan has his hands full and is unlikely to star in the 'Expendable 4,' while Franchise Herald claimed that the actor himself is proposing a film staring only him and Stallone as 'Expendables 4,' which includes a pack of actors. Hence, the proposal is unlikely to materialize.

Some rumors also suggested that wrestling legends Hulk Hogan and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson may portray the roles of villains in the movie, but Franchise Herald says that Hogan is already filming in Bulgaria. On the other hand, that Dwayne Johnson will feature in the 'Expendable 4' is nothing more than wishful thinking. Some reports even made outrageous suggestions by claiming that Justin Bieber and Tom Cruise may feature in the forthcoming movie.

Even names of actors like Hugh Jackman, Kevin Costner, Liam Neeson, Denzel Washington, Vin Diesel, Steven Seagal,l Mark Walhberg and John Cusack circulating on the Internet.

From what Stallone has said, it appears that he intends to reduce the number of violent scenes in the 'Expendable 4' with a view to cater to a larger audience. It may be mentioned that 'Expendables 3' was rated PG-13 at the time of its release and, therefore, lost a large number viewers.

While Stallone is currently preoccupied with 'Rambo 5: Last Blood' and 'Creed,' as of now, the 'Expendable 4' is scheduled for a 2016 premiere.
