Eva Mendes News: Actress Posts First Instagram Selfie to Help a Little Boy with Cancer
For her first selfie, after joining Instagram, Eva Mendes has decided to dedicate it to a cause, by wearing a T-shirt that read, "Hopes and prayers for Andrew Wilson."
It has been reported that young Andrew is a 17-month-old infant suffering from Neuroblastoma, a type of cancer which is mainly found in infants and young children.
Along with the selfie on Instagram Mendes posted saying, "This is my first selfie and it's for an amazing cause! Thank you all so much for helping support Andrew Wilson and his family", read the caption. It is not a surprise that the 'Hitch' actress is actively participating, as her brother Carlos suffers from the same disease."
She has also posted photos of the young boy and wrote a message saying, "This little guy, Andrew Wilson Wratten, is full of smiles, a ball of energy and VERY special to me. He has been undergoing treatment for neuroblastoma cancer. His family has spent the last year going through every parent's worst nightmare as they watch their little boy endure grueling treatment and they need our help."
The actress has also posted photos on Facebook, asking people to donate for the cause. She wrote, "Please, please donate - any bit helps! I'm going to sign this t-shirt and give it away to one person who makes a donation within the next 48 hours. Click the link in my bio to donate. Together let's help this family get their son the proper treatment that he needs", according to People Magazine.
Also, she wrote on Instagram, "From the bottom of my heart, I thank you in advance for your support of this precious little boy and his family,"
