Enrique Iglesias News: Singer Arrested in Florida, Charged With Two Misdemeanors

Famous singer Enrique Iglesias definitely got himself into a lot of trouble as he was recently charged with two misdemeanor charges in Florida, and since the Police have recently released their statements, reports can now be confirmed that Iglesias indeed committed the two misdemeanor charges of obstruction and driving with a suspended license.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol arrest affidavit that was recently released, Iglesias was apparently driving a Cadillac SUV northbound on Interstate 95 in a closed express lane therefore having the patrollers approach the vehicle and seeing Iglesias exchange seats with a certain Abel Tabuyo.

The Affidavit mentioned that it was Iglesias that "jumped from inside the driver's seat onto the rear passenger's seat," while his male passenger, Tabuyo, "jumped from the front passenger's seat onto the driver's seat."

Apparently, this act is not just a simple act of exchanging seats but of obstruction especially since Iglesias was seen to have moved very fast as the affidavit said that he "immediately climbed into the right front passenger's seat," his passenger Tabuyo even mentioned that "he does not know why he switch (sic) seats"

And when the patrollers checked out Iglesias' information like his date of birth and his social security number in their system, they have come to the conclusion that the singer had a suspended license following his May 6 traffic stop in Miami-Date county.

And so afterwards, the two male individuals were placed in handcuffs and were both charged with Obstruction without violence. Since Iglesias was known to have been driving, he was also charged with Driving with suspended license and was asked to appear in court by July 10 after the two plead not guilty for their charges.

There are still no statements coming from Iglesias or his representatives since the press had been reaching out to him asking for any statements from his point of view.
