"Empire" season 2 spoilers reveal that the pregnant Rhonda might have survived the nasty fall. However, she stopped short of revealing the fate about the baby.

But the clip for "Empire" season 2 may have teased spoilers on the fate of the baby as one scene shows Jamal crying his eyes out inside what appeared to be a nursery.

If Kaitlyn Doubleday promised in an interview with TV Line that her character Rhonda will live, that may mean that the baby won't be as unfortunate.

Fans may recall seeing Rhonda fall down the stairs after she was pushed by an unknown intruder, during the midseason finale. While Anika would be the most obvious suspect, Doubleday hinted that it could be someone that fans must least expect.

"She realizes who pushed her and... she gets to confront [him/her] in a very dynamic, scary, insane, crazy way," she said. "I think the audience [will Rhondabe] waiting for that confrontation for all eight episodes."

"It's weird because it started out as a certain person, for sure," the actress added. "Then it changed for a bunch of episodes. There were a good five episodes we shot that I didn't know who pushed me. Then they [settled] on somebody [and] that's when she finally realizes, 'OK, it was this person.'"

Rhonda also seems to be on the path of vengeance as she joined forces with Camilla (Naomi Campbell), who already took control of Empire Entertainment along with Mimi.
