Along with a dramatic trailer, rapper-actor Xzibit's guest stars in the show while there are talks that Andre Lyon could die in "Empire" season 2.

According to Spoilers Guide, rapper-actor Zxibit had booked a guest starring role on the Fox series. As per the publication, Xzibit is set to play Leslie "Shyne" Johnson, who is pure wolf and pure gangster. While the character had worked with artists, had started record imprints, and had sold a few units, he had been known as an expert with drugs, guns, and extortion.

It is assumed that "Empire" season 2 will center on family. According to Melty, "family comes first," as a father and son reunion is also expected to happen in "epic proportions" in the series.

Along with a "big chip" on his shoulder, Lucious (Terrence Howard), Johnson also felt that he had been shut out by other big names in the music realm.

Lyon could also die in "Empire" season 2. Sources told Hollywood Take that being on "Empire" had been major for Trai Byers, who plays the character. It has been added that Byers felt his character was not as important this season and he hated not being the star.

Fox has unveiled a new trailer for "Empire" season 2 and it is dramatic, according to Music Times. As per the publication, the trailer showed that Hakeem had taken on Lucious' role at Empire under the recommendation of Camilla, his previous "cougar fling" who got married to Mimi Whiteman. Also, the trailer featured Hakeem's brother Jamal, who warned his brother about the possible consequences of becoming a CEO.

"Empire" is set to return with season 2 episode 11, entitled "Death Will Have His Day," on Mar. 30.
