In a shocking surprise that no one expected, Fox Network has just announced that joining its hit series,"Empire," for guest spots will be actresses Jennifer Hudson and Rita Ora!

For those of you late to the game, "Empire" tells the story of an ailing music mogul played by Terrence Howard, whose family, consisting of his wife and three sons, are seeking his soon-to-be vacated throne.
Having just began on its latest season on January 7th, "Empire," already one of the strongest breakouts, is about to get even stronger. The hip-hop centered television series has just announced that Jennifer Hudson and Rita Ora will be joining Taraji P. Henson for even more diva energy packed into the show with, now, three powerhouse singers.

It has been reported that as of now, no details have been released about the roles that these golden "throated" goddesses will play. However we can only hope that they will not let those amazing voices go to waste and they will also shine on the small screen!

Both of these women though known for their voices are also no strangers to the silver screen. Rita will be making her first film debut in the highly anticipated 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie based on the bestselling novel trio that has been sitting on the shelves of every woman who is over the age of 16.
This movie is scheduled to hit theaters on February 13, 2015, right before Valentine's Day and will be having housewives saying, "Later, Babe!" as they rush to the theaters along with their gal pals.

'American Idol' alum, Jennifer Hudson's acting resume is also very impressive. Having won an Academy Award for her work in the film adaptation of Dreamgirls, she went on to act in the 'Sex and the City Movie'. Though shortly lived, she has even guest starred in the past on yet another music series on NBC called "Smash."

Until the time comes for the songbirds to hit the screen, we will just have to await to see just what is in store!
